What's something people would never know about you?
Positive, uplifting, a little unhinged, and A LOT of fun – we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take showing up seriously.
What's the energy of your room?
Recovering from a severe eating disorder that consumed more than a decade of my life. It took years of intentionally rewiring my brain to heal my relationship with my body.
What's the hardest thing you've ever done in your life?
Fast Car by Tracy Chapman
You can only listen to one song for the rest of your life. What is it?
amorning workout, a peanut milk latte and breakfast tacos from Babas, pickleball with friends, chasing my kids around Sullivan’s Beach, grabbing Hometeam BBQ, and ending the night curled up on the couch watching a movie with my husband.
What is your ideal day off in Charleston?
Because it makes me a better human. Everything else I care about in life benefits from it too—a better wife, mother, friend, and daughter.
Why do you practice?
Katie Penta, every day. As a mom, friend, and mentor.
Who inspires you?
Outside the room, I’m a wife, mom of two boys, a lover of innovation, and a forever student of personal growth. I love laughing loudly and finding joy in the ordinary.
