Jess Olin

When I first signed up for cycle teacher training, I expected to learn music mapping, choreo, and how to ride a bike. What I didn’t expect was how profoundly it would change the way I show up, not just in the studio, but in my own skin. Through this training, I found a voice I didn’t realize was quieted. It gave me a grounded, unshakable confidence that transformed how I show up across all my sweat classes. I came into training wanting to be a better instructor, but I walked away a more confident, connected version of myself.

The Works Cycle teacher training helped me become the strong, confident rider I am today and made me fall even more in love with cycling along the way! I used to get nervous riding a different bike or taking a class with a new instructor, and now I feel confident jumping on any bike and riding with anyone. My favorite part was diving into the technical side of cycling, from understanding BPMs and cueing runs to adding choreography and learning how to sync every movement with my lead foot. The training pushed me outside my comfort zone, challenged me in the best way, and gave me the confidence I carry with me every time I ride.

My biggest take away from teacher training was the gained confidence in my presence when entering a room. Through teacher training I gained a sense of courage, a group of friends I’ll always have that shared experience with & an overall better understanding of what makes the community at TWC so special. KP & Elle foster such a safe space to find your voice. Even if you don’t find yourself on a podium at the end of it, you will absolutely walk out of training as an improved version of yourself with a better appreciation and understanding of the ride and everything that goes into it!

Cycle teacher training challenged me in ways I never expected—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone, made me more determined, and gave me a new sense of confidence I needed to find. Both trainings I did, I left feeling so inspired, proud, and grateful for the amazing friendships I made along the way. Truly an experience I’ll never forget!

The Works Cycle Teacher Training built my confidence both in the room and outside of it. It taught me how to lead with heart and passion while creating a space where every rider feels seen, supported, and connected. I learned that being authentic—playing music I love, doing choreography I love, and bringing that energy into the room—allows riders to show up exactly as they are. My love for this practice radiates far beyond the bike. At the end of the day, it’s about creating a space where we can show up, connect, and do it together. There’s no better place to do that than The Works Cycle!
