The Works is the opportunity to become present with myself. Not only in the movement, but with the community that comes into the room as well. It helps me understand that we all are fighting different battles, but practicing with each other helps us learn the work needed to come out on the other side.

Three. How I found myself on my mat?

It was the summer after my freshman year of college that I found the works and I wanted to deepen my practice. The Works offered that physical challenge I wanted, but what ultimately drew me in was the heartwork. It gave me the power to answer and deal with the all of the questions and battles I had been dealing with.
